I've been to other therapist before, how are you different?

Unlike other therapists, Maria incorporates your mind, your body and your soul/spirit into the therapeutic process. Unfortunately, most therapist don't know how to work with the body and soul so they only focus on your mind. You have to learn how to move your own energy so that in the future you'll be your own healer.

When will I start to feel better?

You'll begin to feel better after your first session. As soon as you begin to understand why you feel the way you do and learn ways on how to change the way you feel, the healing begins.

What can I expect to happen during the first session?

You'll fill out some paperwork online and if you don't know where or how to begin, Maria will guide you through it. Don't worry if you cry the entire time, you won't be the first. Crying is a way that our bodies regulate. No shame in that. And honestly, it's quite normal. You can certainly expect to feel at home, heard and leave your session hopeful of your future.

When can I start to see you?

Maria tries to get people on her schedule as soon as she can, usually within the week.

What's the difference between a coaching and therapeutic session?

I’m licensed in Connecticut and am able to treat individuals that live in CT with the insurance that I am in network with.

Individuals that live outside of CT and/or are not in network are having a difficult time having access to therapists/coaches that understands the unique challenges that survivors of narcissistic abuse are currently facing.

In short, if you hire Maria for a therapeutic or coaching session, you’re going to get the same well of information from her. The difference is that as a coach, Maria will not be providing you with treatment as she does with her patients.

Maria is a treatment provider to her patients not to her coaching clients.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. I’m in network with Anthem, BCBS, Aetna and Husky Insurance only.

In Connecticut only.

****If you have a different insurance company, call them for your out of network benefits.

Your insurance company will inform you how much they will reimburse you after you have paid the full fee of $145. Maria will supply you with a superbill to send to your insurance company. Check your coverage carefully and make sure you understand. Also, call your insurance company for the address to send the superbill to. Your co-pay and payment are due at time of service.
